I'm not wild to have to address this issue (again) of inappropriate T.V. commercials during 'family friendly' shows, for a couple of reasons--I have to do excessive research,  and I have to have polls and numbers available.  That process always takes a little of  the 'shine' away from the spontaneity of the article.

Many sports' fans and sports' reporters are beginning to refer to the National Football League (NFL) as the National Felon League, due to the upsurge of criminal activities of several players the pass several years.   However, the major factor which gripes their butts are the seemingly reduced, soft, or just plain minimal sentences.

The title of "The Greatest College Football Player of All Time" is rarely heard in the annals of those who know football.   This now appears to have changed.   This supreme above and beyond statement may now have a definitive answer--but hang onto your goal posts. This 2009 football season will probably tell the tale, if all goes well for one player and one team.

 Kiss
She was a beautiful, charming, intelligent girl from North Little Rock, Arkansas and had one of those come-hither smiles.   Her continual smile and infectious laughter drew me to her like a magnet.   It was a great first date that Friday evening, and knew I had to see her the next day.   Hell, I didn't even want to leave her that night! But.....I had a problem!

I was scheduled for an important Saturday Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) track meet about twenty-five miles away in Jacksonville, Florida.   Suddenly, a bright idea went cascading through my little brain.   I asked her if she would accompany me to the all-day meet?   She gave me another big smile and said yes.

Phelps Needs Helps! PDF Print E-mail

Olympic swimming champion, Michael Phelps, has troubles similar to a well organized person living among extremely laid back people, who follow a lifetime of procrastination.   Every time....and I mean EVERY time a well organized person makes the slightest mistake, the lazy procrastinator will jump his ass--and glory in it.   It's like a gotcha for goof offs, and not really unexpected.   It gives the less educated, and/or unmotivated people, a chance to stroke their own egos.
