I know I can’t be the only person who doesn’t like to travel. I especially hate air travel. Why? Because there are too many rules and no matter how well prepared I may think I am, there will be at least one person at the airport who will prove me wrong. I can have all the necessary information and items allowed, yet still end up playing the game of 'Hurry Up And Wait'.

I was reading an article that made a reference to being a Good Samaritan, claiming that it would make a person feel good to know they've helped someone. I agree....to a point. I have my own story of being The Good Samaritan, and believe me, when you end up pissing off four elderly people, the police and a dog, it makes you think twice about random acts of kindness.

I was driving through Kansas this past weekend on my way to pick up my kids from their dad’s in Mississippi, when I had a little accident.
Just a little one.
I mean, the state troopers only had to close the road for just under two hours, and that includes the time it took to clear the tailgate party-ers and move the semi.

Back when I was in high school, I was an active member of the drama club and loved it. Imagine me in all of my goofy glory, with a license to act. That’s like telling Carol Burnett and Lucille Ball to just have fun.

I’ve had it. I really mean it this time. I have given up on men.
After the inevitable crash and burn of every relationship in which I’ve ever been, I always swear I’m through. But this time? I mean it. It’s either give up men or become a lesbian, and I’m not quite ready for that. What can I say? I’ll always like beef better than seafood.
