"No", I said, "It wasn't 11:05.   It was 11:03."  Nobody was listening.   Nobody heard me.   Nobody really cared what I had to say.   Not in that room, anyway.   Nobody but I.   I cared exactly what the specific time was.   The time my sister died.

God, I know You Are Busy PDF Print E-mail
Written by Cecelia Latoof

Dear God,
I was thinking about you.
I hope you are thinking about me, too.
I know, God, you are very busy thinking about the weather, the trees, and the flowers.   About the rivers, and the land, and about the people who are trying to help keep the world clean and safe.
I also know, God, that you are thinking about the children who need shoes, the families who have no homes, and the people who are hungry.
I know you are also busy thinking of the children and adults everywhere.
I know you are busy, God, and, I know, you are busy thinking about me, as well.

Happy Mother's Day, Bryanna PDF Print E-mail

Dearest Bree,

I always feel you near me,

and wonder if you are happy with what you see.

What could I do to make it better?

I tried to do everything in your letter.

So I hope you are not disappointed,

At how we all became so disjointed.

Love,

Angie

Memories of Bryanna

Hey Angie –

Are you really ready to read what I have written about Bryanna? She is such a powerful feeling inside me, I can only imagine what she is for you sisters.

One of my strongest, gut-wrenching memories:

BLOG ABOUT BRYANNA LATOOF PDF Print E-mail

BRYANNA LATOOF WROTE FOR THE ST. PETERSBURG TIMES AT THE TIME OF HER DEATH.

A NEWSIST AND BEAUTY WHO DIED WAY BEFORE HER TIME, LEAVING TWO VERY YOUNG CHILDREN BEHIND.

HER ESSENCE OF LIFE REMAINS THROUGH THEM AND HER MANY WRITINGS.

I WOULD LIKE TO PERSONALLY THANK JAN GLIDEWELL, AS HE KEPT BRYANNA'S SPIRIT ALIVE,

WHEN WE HAD NO SPIRIT TO DO IT OURSELVES.   HE IS TRULY ONE OF THE BEST WRITERS AROUND.

IT WILL BE A SAD DAY WHEN HE PUTS HIS PEN DOWN.

BELOW ARE SITES WHERE YOU CAN FIND MORE INFORMATION ON HER AND BREAST CANCER.
