Hey Bree,

Just like every other day and moment in time, I am thinking about you.   I guess you know we are moving.   You would love our new home.   I can't wait.   I haven't been wild about the politics where we live, so I'm glad to move on.

Our school board gets nasty grams in the editorial section all of the time.   It appears I'm not the only one not jumping for joy or feeling the love, if you will.   You would have a field day with them.   It is pretty unbelievable some of the crap they do, and then hail themselves as a 'cut above'.   They ask for parents' input, then they demonize you if you have questions, or so it appears.

The kids are doing fine.   Raising a teenage girl ain't easy though.   I try really hard to remember what and how I felt at that age.   I don't want to lose her due to closed doors.   James has a concert tomorrow.   He's playing his guitar.   It should be adorable.

Christmas is right around the corner.   I know we both just loved Christmas.   People don't carol much anymore, do they?   I remember we use to go carolling.   I was never so stuffed as after going to the neighbors' houses singing songs of joy and cheer.   And then they would feed us--every last one of them.   Do you remember how many times we shoved fruit cake down?   Still not wild about it, but it would have been rude to decline.   I wonder if there were alcohol in those cakes?   Never felt anything if there were.

Well, kids need tucking and reading so sugar plums can dance in their heads.

Love,

Angie
